Father's Day Coming Soon! Have You Thought of a Gift for Dad?

Father's Day this year falls on the 15th of June, which is the 3rd Sunday of the month. Have you saved up for a nice shirt or a brand-new tie for Dad? Here are quick tips on how you can put a smile on Daddy's face, without necessarily scrimping on your own budget:

1. Fetch him his slippers as soon as he gets home
(and plant a kiss on his cheek or forehead);
2. Make him a cup of really nice coffee (or tea);
3. Rent out new DVDs of his favorite actors and watch movies with him at home;
4. Wash his socks;
5. Fetch the morning paper for him (and give your dog
a pat on the back for notwhining as you snatch the morning routine from him);
6. Give him feet massage;
7. Play ball with him;
8. Wash the car for dad, or help out when you see him doing it;
9. Fix the dinner table for him, and help Mom serve food;
10. Get him a glass of water before he asks for it;
11. Drop little love notes into his bag when he least expects it;
12. Give him a bear hug as soon as he wakes up in the morning of Father's Day.

You can also write him a personal email expressing how proud you are of him as your Dad, and how thankful you are for being his son or daughter. Express it more effectively by sending:

Father's Day is not about gifts, but if you have an amount stashed aside for a new golf club or a ticket to his favorite game, by all means, don't scrimp on it. Father's Day is the best day of the year to show fathers how special they are, and special gifts can delight them no end. However, dads would not mind receiving an email written from the heart. With cute images to highlight your emotion, your dad would just be as pleased. In his heart he knows, regardless of your gift, it's your love for him that makes the big difference.

Things You can Do with Zaazu

With your indulgence, let me cite the number of ways I use Zaazu; reasons why I love this new smiley innovation sooo much! Unlike other emoticons you simply click to spice up online chat or emphasize points in your email, Zaazu smileys can be used in a lot other ways because:

1. Zaazu smileys come in a wider array of choices - 30 categories and counting;
2. A zaazu smiley has three sizes - small, medium, large - which gives you options depending on where you use it.

For starters, here are the number of ways I use Zaazu, and the things I created with it:

Zaazu for Emails. Dress up your emails with Zaazu smileys for more impact. These cute smileys are compatible with Gmail, Yahoo! Email, Hotmail, AOL, Comcast and Earthlink. Download Zaazu here and start sending emails loaded with your feelings expressed beautifully with a smiley.

Zaazu for Blogs. Need I say more? This blog has more character because of Zaazu. Most blogs, save for corporate ones, are their writers' account of personal views and experiences. Blogs of this kind should not appear "flat" or somewhat starved of true emotion. Zaazu helps any blogger to inject humor, express love or hate, or simply animate any blog. With Zaazu's wide array of emoticons to choose from, there's surely one for every human emotion!

Zaazu for Websites. Just like what Zaazu can do for blogs, it can do for websites of any kind.

Zaazu for Forums. Instead of writing "welcome to the forum" you can post this :

Zaazu for comments to blog sites. Similar to sending replies to forum posts, you can utilize a Zaazu smiley to express how some blogs inform while others you simply found "gibberish":

Zaazu in chatrooms. Not everyone on the internet has a good grasp of the English language. Inside chatrooms, you will meet people who struggle to express their feelings in English text in their hopes to win friends over. Show them you find an easier solution. Send them to Zaazu's home page and encourage them to download the software. Next time you meet them in a chatroom, send them your own Zaazu, and hopefully you can start a new trend!

Not everyone knows the meaning of these words:

"Je t'aime" - France
" Mahal Kita" - Philippines
"Seni seviyorum!" - Turkey
" Te Amo" - Spain
"Ya lyublyu tebya" - Russia
"I love You" - US

But everyone understands this:

"I Love Him, but Writing Emails Scares Me"

This one came from Suzanne of Dallas, Texas.

Well, Suzanne - me too.

I loved Nick, but never told him so - on the phone or in the mails. "Tongue-tied" was an understatement; many times I thought I swallowed my tongue! I tried writing Nick emails, but I could never get past "Hello, Nick"...

Then one day, I saw him with Grace.

Brian came along, and everyone thought I would let another chance pass me by. Not anymore!

Suzanne, you should know that some men experience difficulty, as much as most women do, in expressing their feelings to the opposite sex. There are few women and men who happen to be born with gift of gab while the rest of us can only beat our chests for feeling downright awkward and stupid on occasions where saying "I love you" could have been perfect.

Don't despair. The internet offers innovative ideas on how to say "I love You" effortlessly; in fact, expressing emotions has never been easier today than it was yesterday when people had to rely solely on words and gestures - and perhaps few bottles of whisky. Today, anyone can glib-talk without actually talking!

Obviously, I am referring to one of my favorites. Have you not noticed? I have them all strewn lavishly on my pages!

"Zaazu" is the name. Find out more about zaazu, here.

With the help of Zaazu, you will realize that writing emails can be a lot of fun! Pouring down your thoughts on the blank screen would no longer be a challenge because with just a few clicks, you can compose your message, sans the written word.

Here's what I sent Brian:

Nothing's too difficult about it, see? And it expressed for me more than what I could have had the courage to say to him...

Try it!
